Terms of Use
1. Who and what
These Terms of Use govern the Asteria iOS app and askasteria.com, published by Alexandre Gallucci, Lausanne, Switzerland (see the legal notice). Contact: support@askasteria.com.
2. Apple's standard licence
Asteria is licensed to you under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These Terms of Use add to it; where the two differ on the licence itself, Apple's agreement prevails.
3. What Asteria is — and is not
Asteria computes your chart and the sky, draws tarot cards and writes readings for reflection and entertainment. It does not predict the future, and it is not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. Never take an important decision on the app's word alone; for your health or a serious situation, see a qualified professional.

4. Readings written by AI
With your consent, some readings — the answers in Ask and the summary of a tarot draw — are written by an AI model (Anthropic's Claude) from what the app computed. An AI can be wrong: it may misread a question, state something inaccurate or sound more certain than it should. The astronomical calculations are the app's own; the wording is not a promise. Tell us at support@askasteria.com if an answer is out of place.
5. Your account
You must be at least 16 to use Asteria. You are responsible for the birth details you enter and for keeping access to your sign-in method. Asteria opens an anonymous account for you on first launch; you can link it to Apple, Google or your email address, and delete it at any time in Profile → Delete Account.
6. Data about another person
When you add someone to Asteria or ask about them, you enter their first name and birth details. Only do so with their agreement, and never to harm or harass anyone. You are responsible for the data you enter about other people.
7. Premium, subscriptions and the lifetime purchase
- Free and Premium. Asteria is free to download. Premium unlocks the features marked as Premium in the app. The app's tarot decks are free for everyone; no deck is sold.
- Subscriptions. Premium is offered as monthly and annual auto-renewing subscriptions, billed to your Apple ID. Eligible new subscribers get a 7-day free trial; if you don't cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, the subscription starts and is charged. A subscription renews automatically at the same price and length unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your Apple ID is charged within the 24 hours before that end. Manage or cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Any unused part of a free trial is lost when you buy a subscription.
- Lifetime purchase. The lifetime purchase is a one-time payment, not a subscription: it never renews and unlocks Premium for as long as Asteria is offered on the App Store. It is tied to your Apple ID and comes back on a new iPhone with Profile → Restore Purchases. It may be offered for a limited time only.
- Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription: cancel it with Apple.
- Refunds are decided by Apple under its terms (reportaproblem.apple.com). Prices may change under the App Store's rules, never retroactively.
8. Acceptable use
Don't abuse the service: no attempt to disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the servers, no automated or bulk use of the AI features, no use of the app to produce unlawful content. We may limit or suspend an account that does.
9. Content and intellectual property
The app, its artwork, texts and calculation engines belong to the publisher or are used under licence. Your questions, notes and journal remain yours. Readings are for your personal use. Credits:

10. Availability and liability
Asteria is provided “as is”. We aim for a reliable service but cannot promise it will never be interrupted, and features that rely on other services (Apple, Supabase, Anthropic) may sometimes be degraded. As far as the law allows, the publisher's liability is limited to what you paid for Asteria in the 12 months before the claim; nothing here limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer.
11. Privacy
How your data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; a change that matters will be announced in the app, and it applies from the date shown at the top. You can stop using Asteria and delete your account at any time.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by Swiss law, with jurisdiction in Lausanne, Switzerland — without taking away the protection and the courts that the law of your country of residence guarantees you as a consumer.

1. Qui et quoi
Ces conditions d'utilisation (« Terms of Use ») régissent l'app iOS Asteria et askasteria.com, publiées par Alexandre Gallucci, Lausanne, Suisse (voir les mentions légales). Contact : support@askasteria.com.
2. La licence standard d'Apple
Asteria t'est concédée sous le contrat de licence standard d'Apple pour les applications (« Licensed Application End User License Agreement »). Ces conditions le complètent ; là où les deux diffèrent sur la licence elle-même, le contrat d'Apple l'emporte.
3. Ce qu'Asteria est — et n'est pas
Asteria calcule ton thème et le ciel, tire des cartes de tarot et rédige des lectures pour réfléchir et te divertir. Elle ne prédit pas l'avenir, et ce n'est pas un avis médical, psychologique, juridique ou financier. Ne prends jamais une décision importante sur la seule foi de l'app ; pour ta santé ou une situation grave, vois un professionnel.

4. Les lectures rédigées par IA
Avec ton accord, certaines lectures — les réponses d'Ask et la synthèse d'un tirage — sont rédigées par un modèle d'IA (Claude, d'Anthropic) à partir de ce que l'app a calculé. Une IA peut se tromper : mal comprendre une question, affirmer une inexactitude ou paraître plus sûre qu'elle ne devrait. Les calculs astronomiques sont ceux de l'app ; la formulation n'est pas une promesse. Écris-nous à support@askasteria.com si une réponse est déplacée.
5. Ton compte
Il faut avoir au moins 16 ans pour utiliser Asteria. Tu es responsable des données de naissance que tu saisis et de l'accès à ton moyen de connexion. Asteria t'ouvre un compte anonyme au premier lancement ; tu peux le lier à Apple, Google ou ton adresse e-mail, et le supprimer à tout moment dans Profil → Supprimer le compte.
6. Données d'un proche
Quand tu ajoutes quelqu'un dans Asteria ou poses une question à son sujet, tu saisis son prénom et sa naissance. Fais-le seulement avec son accord, et jamais pour nuire ou harceler. Tu es responsable des données que tu saisis sur d'autres personnes.
7. Premium, abonnements et achat à vie
- Gratuit et Premium. Asteria se télécharge gratuitement. Premium ouvre les fonctions marquées Premium dans l'app. Les jeux de tarot de l'app sont gratuits pour tout le monde ; aucun jeu n'est vendu.
- Abonnements. Premium est proposé en abonnements mensuel et annuel à renouvellement automatique, facturés sur ton identifiant Apple. Les nouveaux abonnés éligibles ont 7 jours d'essai gratuit ; sans résiliation au moins 24 h avant la fin, l'abonnement démarre et il est prélevé. Un abonnement se renouvelle automatiquement, au même prix et pour la même durée, sauf résiliation au moins 24 h avant la fin de la période en cours ; ton identifiant Apple est débité dans les 24 h qui précèdent cette fin. Gérer ou résilier : Réglages → ton nom → Abonnements. La partie non utilisée d'un essai gratuit est perdue quand tu achètes un abonnement.
- Achat à vie. L'achat à vie est un paiement unique, pas un abonnement : il ne se renouvelle jamais et ouvre Premium tant qu'Asteria est proposée sur l'App Store. Il est lié à ton identifiant Apple et revient sur un nouvel iPhone avec Profil → Restaurer les achats. Il peut n'être proposé que pour une durée limitée.
- Supprimer ton compte ne résilie pas un abonnement : résilie-le auprès d'Apple.
- Les remboursements sont décidés par Apple selon ses conditions (reportaproblem.apple.com). Les prix peuvent changer selon les règles de l'App Store, jamais rétroactivement.
8. Usage acceptable
N'abuse pas du service : aucune tentative de perturber, surcharger ou désassembler les serveurs, aucun usage automatisé ou massif des fonctions d'IA, aucun usage de l'app pour produire des contenus illicites. Nous pouvons limiter ou suspendre un compte qui le fait.
9. Contenus et propriété intellectuelle
L'app, ses visuels, ses textes et ses moteurs de calcul appartiennent à l'éditeur ou sont utilisés sous licence. Tes questions, tes notes et ton journal restent à toi. Les lectures sont destinées à ton usage personnel. Crédits :

10. Disponibilité et responsabilité
Asteria est fournie « en l'état ». Nous visons un service fiable sans pouvoir promettre qu'il ne sera jamais interrompu, et les fonctions qui s'appuient sur d'autres services (Apple, Supabase, Anthropic) peuvent parfois être dégradées. Dans la mesure permise par la loi, la responsabilité de l'éditeur est limitée à ce que tu as payé pour Asteria dans les 12 mois précédant la réclamation ; rien ici ne limite la responsabilité en cas de faute intentionnelle ou grave, ni tes droits de consommateur ou consommatrice.
11. Confidentialité
Le traitement de tes données est décrit dans la politique de confidentialité.
12. Modifications et fin
Nous pouvons mettre ces conditions à jour ; un changement qui compte est annoncé dans l'app et s'applique à partir de la date indiquée en haut. Tu peux arrêter d'utiliser Asteria et supprimer ton compte à tout moment.
13. Droit applicable
Ces conditions sont régies par le droit suisse, avec for à Lausanne, en Suisse — sans te retirer la protection et les tribunaux que la loi de ton pays de résidence te garantit comme consommateur ou consommatrice.
